Edgar Martinez Signed Game Used 2000 Seattle Mariners Jersey JSA & PSA DNA COA
Offered is a Seattle Mariners alternate road jersey worn and signed by designated hitter Edgar Martinez during the 2000 campaign. Thought to be doomed without the presence of a departed Ken Griffey, Jr. in the lineup, Martinez proved naysayers wrong that season, hitting .324 while posting career-bests in homers (37) and RBI (145). This black knit, button-down garment features "SEATTLE" arched across the chest in glittering silver-on-blue-and-teal tackle twill, complete with the team's nautical logo. In silver-on-teal characters on the back, "MARTINEZ" is arched on a name plate above the number "11." On the second "1," Martinez' blue Sharpie signature and inscription of "2000 Gamer" is penned vertically at a strength of "10." A 3-3/4"-diameter team logo patch adorns the left sleeve, silver piping lines the neck and button path and, at the base of the neck, an MLB silhouette logo is sewn in M's team colors. On the left front tail, a "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" manufacturer's label is accompanied by a size "48" flap tag and a strip tag denoting "2000." Light wear. LOA from Steve Grad/PSA DNA and LOA from James Spence Authentication. LOA from Lou Lampson. LOA from RR Auctions.
