The 2003 NBA All-Star Game, held at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta on Feb. 9th, 2003, was the end of an era, as it marked the last ASG appearance and 14th for arguably the greatest player of all time, Michael Jordan. It stands as not only Jordan's last hurrah, but as the last ASG to go into overtime, with the Western Conference eeking out a 155-145 victory over the Eastern Conference. Jordan drained 20 points with 5 rebounds and 2 steals and assists, a piece, dazzling All-Star fans for the very last time.
The jerseys used by the teams were inspired by the 1987-88 All-Star Game jerseys, and this Pro Cut NBA Hardwood Classics jersey features six screen-printed stars in red and blue on the chest of the jersey. An embroidered NBA logo rests on the left chest, and again next to "NBA" in red and blue tackle twill. The number "23" appears on the chest in blue tackle twill above "ALL-STAR" in red and blue tackle twill. A NBA Hardwood Classics Vintage tag with "1987-88" flag appears on the left front tail, above a Reebok All-Star Game tag with "46" and "+2 LENGTH" flags. "JORDAN" is radially arched across the jersey's back in blue tackle twill above the number "23," which is also in blue tackle twill. A Washington Wizards logo rests below the rear collar. Jordan placed a clear and bold silver marker signature on the number "2" on the jersey's back. The jersey comes with an LOA from MEARS (319621), which gave the jersey the grade of "Pro Cut."
Comes with COA from JSA.
