With 660 career home runs, 3,283 hits, and a batting average north of .300, Mays more than earned his 24 All-Star Game nominations. Mays retired in 1973 after two years with the New York Mets, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility.

     This jersey is a Rawlings 1989 San Francisco Giants home jersey. “GIANTS” is sewn on the button down chest in black and orange tackle twill. “MAYS” is sewn on the back shoulders in black and orange tackle twill on a white nameplate above his number “24”, also sewn on in black and orange tackle twill. Mays signed the chest of this jersey in blue marker, which exhibits very faint and slight bleeding. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA.
