The most prolific winner in Major League management history signed this Official Carolina League (Mann) sphere near the end of his half-century at the helm of the Philadelphia Athletics. Sweet spot autograph. Included is a newspaper page from the April 13, 1950 edition of "The News and Observer" in Raleigh, North Carolina that appears to suggest that the ball Mack signs in the photo on page thirteen is this baseball.
