James Braddock "Cinderella Man" Signed 1930's Restaurant Postcard Photo JSA COA
Scarce advertising postcard for legendary boxer James Braddock's New York restaurant, Inn Braddock's Corner, signed by the "Cinderella Man" himself. Picturing Braddock on the front in a ready-to-fight pose, the salutation "Your Host / Jimmy Braddock" appears against his image. The reverse is a traditional postcard back, with the restaurant's 49th Street address at the bottom and the promise of "[expressing] the simple dignity of the 'Cinderella Man.'" Braddock has written his name in black ink on the front of the card, writing "Best Wishes / James Braddock." The postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) displays light creases and evidence of album removal on the reverse.Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
