The first Super Bowl, held at Los Angeles Coliseum on January 15, 1967, ushered in a new era for football. The NFL no longer had a monopoly on professional football, with the AFL-NFL merger finally granting credence to the upstart American Football League. Super Bowl I, contested between the Green Bay Packers of the NFL and the AFL champion Kansas City Chiefs, featured an unparalleled collection of skill, with 18 future Hall of Famers involved in the game. Led by the great Bart Starr and coach Vince Lombardi, the Packers throttled the overmatched Chiefs 35-10, with Starr earning MVP honors. The former University of Alabama standout finished with 250 passing yards and two touchdowns, excellent statistics in an era where the NFL was characterized by smash mouth rushing offenses.

Presented here is a Super Bowl I champion Green Bay Packers team signed 16 x 20-inch photo with 28 signatures. The photo features an image of a packed Lambeau Field during a Packers home game.
