Presented here is a signed 11x14 photograph of Willie Mays making "The Catch" in Game 1 of the 1954 World Series against the Cleveland Indians. Mays' incredible defensive effort in the top of the eighth inning off Vic Wertz's bomb preserved the 2-2 score, with the Giants clinching a victory in the 10th inning of the game. Mays and the Giants went on to win the World Series in four games over a deflated Indians team. Mays signed this photograph with a blue marker. The photo comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication (AC23764) for Mays' signature.
