1923 NY Yankees World Series Champs Team Signed Baseball Babe Ruth JSA & PSA

$49,995.00

This is the team that started it all. When the 1923 New York Yankees beat the Giants in the World Series it was the first of a record 27 World Championships, continuing right up through the present. This record spans all sports and will likely never be broken. This is a Spalding No. 3B baseball. There are 20 signatures done in black steel-tip fountain pen. HOF’s include: Babe Ruth which is on the sweet spot, Herb Pennock, and Waite Hoyt. Key’s include: W. Schang, E. Scott, C. O’Leary, M. McNally, B. Shawkey, J. Dugan, J. Bush, F. Hofmann, B. Meusel, W. Witt. A second Babe Ruth signature may exist but the name is illegible. In the nearly 80 years since the ball was signed, it has endured while showing toning and wear. Ruth is of the stronger signatures. Team signed balls of any condition from the 1920's are very rare and this ball has historical significance from the Yankees' first year at the stadium. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA, as well as a PSA LOA.
