1947 Chicago Cardinals NFL Champions Team Signed Game Football JSA COA

$4,999.00

The Chicago Cardinals are one of only three charter members (Bears and Packers) of the National Football League still in existence. Now based in Arizona, the franchise started at the turn of the 20th century as a local Chicago football club known as the "Racine Street Cardinals". They officially became the Chicago Cardinals when the AFPA rebranded as the NFL in 1922. In 1947, the Cardinals won their second NFL title, beating the Eagles 28-21 in the championship, thanks largely to the famous "Million Dollar Backfield" of Elmer Angsman, Charley Trippi, Paul Christman and Pat Harder. Each has signed this vintage Official NFL football along with 26 other teammates.

The strikingly bold signatures in black marker range an impressive 9-10/10 in strength and eye appeal. Special piece of football history.
