1951 Yankees World Series Champs Team Signed Baseball Mickey Mantle Rookie JSA
Official American League baseball (Harridge) signed in blue ink by the following 31 members of the 1951 World Champion New York Yankees: Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio (sweet spot), Casey Stengel (Mgr.), Berra, Rizzuto, Dickey (coach), Martin, McDougald, Coleman, Shea, Lopat, Morgan, Sanford, Hopp, Jensen, Silvera, Ferrick, Brown, Henrich (coach), Ostrowski, Byrne, Houk, Woodling, Reynolds, Bauer, Raschi, Collins, Mapes, Crosetti (coach), Turner (coach), and G, Mauch. The year 1951 was a momentous one in Yankees history as the team bid farewell to Joe DiMaggio and welcomed his heir apparent, Mickey Mantle. The transition was certainly a smooth one, as the Yankees captured their third consecutive World Championship (en route to a record five consecutive titles) by defeating the Giants in the World Series. 1951 New York Yankees team-signed balls are among the most desirable from the era, and the offered ball is no exception. All the signatures are authentic. There are NO clubhouse signatures. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
