Presented is a baseball signed by members of the 1959 Los Angeles Dodgers. In their second season in Los Angeles, manager Walter Alston would lead the Dodgers to a 86–68 record, good enough for first place in the National League. The Dodgers would go on to defeat the Chicago White Sox in a thrilling World Series, earning the franchise second ever title. Twenty-one former Dodgers including National Baseball Hall of Famers Pee Wee Reese, Walter Alston, Gil Hodges, Duke Snider, and fellow stars Ron Fairly, Greg Mulleavy, Art Fowler, Danny McDevitt, Don Demeter, Dick Gray, Don Zimmer, Wally Moon, Rip Repulski, John Roseboro, Norm Larker, Charlie Neal, Carl Furillo, Johnny Podres, Joe Pignatano, Jim Gilliam, and Carl Erskine have penned their blue ink signatures across the entirety of the baseball, with Alston signing the sweet spot (21 signatures).  LOA from PSA/DNA for the signature accompanies (AR05008).
