1962 Willie Davis Game Worn Los Angeles Dodgers Jersey. He won two World Championships with the Dodgers during his fourteen seasons of service to the team, and the offered road grey flannel dates to his third year in Los Angeles, one in which the speedy center fielder led the National League in triples (10) and beat the tag in thirty-two of thirty-nine steal attempts. The Dodgers would win over one hundred games in 1962, but come up a single victory short of the Giants' pennant-winning tally. The jersey exhibits solid wear from this exciting campaign, with "Los Angeles" and the number "3" applied in blue and red felt respectively to the chest. The digit is repeated on verso in blue. Lower left front tail bears "Rawlings [size] 42" label above embroidered "W. Davis 62." Interior tail holds washing instructions label anchoring "Set 1 1962" flap tag. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
