A 28-6 victory at the Cotton Bowl over future Dallas sporting icon Roger Staubach and his Navy squad completed the Longhorns' undefeated season and earned the school its first NCAA Football Championship. Presented is a stunning tan leather football that has been autographed by more than 60 members of that historic Texas team, most notably coach Darrell Royal, eventual Pro Football Hall of Fame Tommy Nobis, and All-Americans Scott Appleton and Tommy Ford. The ball exhibits only light handling wear and presents marvelously, with "National Champions University of Texas 1963" boldly stamped on one panel.
