1968 St. Louis Cardinals NL Champs Team Signed Baseball Roger Maris JSA COA
Within five outs of a convincing second straight World Series title, the 1968 St. Louis Cardinals squandered a 5-3 lead in Game 5, then proceeded to lose Games 6 and 7, as well, becoming just the third team in Fall Classic annals to blow a lead of three games-to-one. This baseball is autographed by (25) members of that Gateway City bridesmaid squad. The Official National League Giles sphere is signed in black ballpoint by: Sweet Spot: Schoendienst (manager) and Cepeda; North Panel: Carlton, Gagliano, Granger, Washburn, Jaster, Hughes and Willis; South Panel: Hague, Edwards, McCarver, Schofield, Gibson and Maris; West Panel: Flood, Briles, Davis and Hoerner; East Panel: Javier, Shannon, Tolan, Maxvill, Spezio and Sisler (coach). Accompanying is a full photo LOA from JSA.
