Simply put, Wayne Gretzky is the greatest hockey player ever to lace up the skates. Gretzky entered the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers when four franchises of the WHA were absorbed into the NHL starting with the 1979-80 season. Gretzky's impact was immediate as he would win the Hart Trophy, the NHL equivalent to the league MVP, for eight straight years. The height of Gretzky's career came with the Oilers, where he had four seasons of 200+ points and won four Stanley Cup titles.
Offered is a Titan TPM professional model game used hockey stick signed and inscribed by Hockey Hall of Famer Gretzky. Gretzky signed and inscribed "To Steve from," using a black marker across the taped portion of the blade. Stamped at just the point where the stick meets the blade is the date "Oct 6 1981." The stick contains numerous black marks, stains, abrasions, and scratches, with stained tape around the butt end of the stick. The stick is accompanied by an LOA from Beckett for Gretzky's signature and inscription.
