1982-85 Karl Malone Game Worn Louisiana Tech Warmup Jacket. Karl Malone played his college ball at Louisiana Tech University under coach Andy Russo where he was named All-Southland from 1983-85, the Southland Player of the Year in 1983, and second-team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches in 1985. For his collegiate career he averaged 18.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and shot .566 from the field. Those stats, coupled with his aggressive style of play, helped to get him an invite to the 1984 Olympic Trials and make him the thirteen pick of the 1985 NBA Draft. Ultimately, Louisiana Tech would retire his number.

Offered here is The Mailman's game worn Louisiana Tech warmup jacket. The baby blue nylon knit features a blue six-snap-button front, pointed lapels, and red/white sleeve cuff. Best of all is the large "T" superimposed over the state of Louisiana on the left chest and "32" at the lower right tail, all sewn-on in red/white/blue tackle twill. There is also a lone "Powers Athletic Wear 46" manufacturer's/size tag residing in the collar. This specimen exhibits appropriate while remaining in exemplary condition.

During his twenty seasons in the NBA, Malone was a perennial All-Star and All-NBA selection and a two-time NBA MVP. He won an Olympic gold medal as a member of The Dream in 1992, was selected as one of the NBA's fifty all-time greatest players in 1996, and his number was retired by the Utah Jazz in 2006.

The Mailman redefined what it meant to be a power forward in the NBA and remains as one of the most important and elite players in history. This coupled with the incredible display appeal of this exemplar makes it worthy of a place in any top shelf uniform display. LOA from Heritage Auctions and Grey Flannel Auctions as well .
