1986 New York Mets World Series Champs Team Signed National League Baseball JSA
One of the more exciting World Series of its era pitted the 1986 Boston Red Sox against the New York Mets. The Series went to 7 games, was almost won by Boston in 6 but for the legendary Bill Buckner play, which turned the game around when the Mets were down to their last strike. Of course the Mets returned with the momentum for Game 7, winning 8-5, taking yet another World Series away from Boston.
Rawlings official National League (Feeney) baseball, packed with 30 signatures from the classic Mets team. Inexplicably, just one Hall of Famer (Gary Carter) played on that team, which won 108 games and dominated the National League.
