Held in place of the NHL All-Star Game, Rendez-vous '87 was an international series between the Soviet national squad and a team of All-Stars from the NHL. Games were played in Quebec City, with the Russians taking the two-game series on aggregate, 8-7. This stick has been team-signed by 22 “NHL All-Star” members. A Chimo GLM 999 model with “Poulin” stamped to the upper shaft, the signers include HOFers Gretzky, Lemieux, Messier, Chelios, Anderson, Fuhr and Rod Langway, along with Dineen, Ramsey, Muller, Tikkanen and others. The signatures were all executed with a thick black marker, and many appear to be rushed examples. A JSA LOA will accompany.
