Offered here is an Spalding USA basketball signed by 15+ members of the 1994 USA Men's Basketball team, known as "Dream Team II", that won gold at the 1994 FIBA World Championships in Toronto. The second Dream Team was a star-studded cast of NBA stars and future Hall of Famers led by Shaquille O'Neal, Dominique Wilkins, Reggie Miller, Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway. Coached by Hall of Famer Don Nelson, who was assisted by Lenny Wilkens, Mike Krzyzewski and Pete Gillen, Dream Team II went 8-0 and knocked off Russia in the final, 137-91.
The Spalding Top-Flite 1000 ball with the USA Basketball logo is stamped "Dream Team II" on the upper panel with a "20 of 250" limited edition stamp. The signatures are done in black marker, some of which having faded beyond clear recognition. Identifiable are Shaq, Alonzo Mourning, Joe Dumars, Don Nelson, Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, Mark Price, Larry Johnson, Derrick Coleman and Pete Gillen. According to the LOA, PSA/DNA could not recognize five signatures. We count six other autographs, which would account for all players and coaches. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
