2004 Boston Red Sox World Series Champs Team Signed Large 20x24 Photo JSA COA

$1,495.00

Belt out a chorus of "Sweet Caroline" as you place your bids for this exciting 2004 Boston Red Sox multi-signed photo display. Framed to dimensions of 32x40, this 20x24 photograph captured the wild scene on the field at Busch Stadium, when the Red Sox finally broke the "Curse of the Bambino" on 10/27/04. This miraculous climax came at the end of a triumphant four-game World Series sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals, but only after the Sox made an improbable comeback in the 2004 ALCS. Facing the Yankees in the stage setting ALCS, the "Beantowners" lost the first three games of the series and were trailing going into the 9th inning of game 4. After tying the game in the 9th, David Ortiz hit a 12th inning homer to keep the Sox postseason hopes alive and they went on to beat their arch-rivals in the next three games, to become the first MLB team to ever make such a comeback after trailing three games to none in a postseason series.

(14) Members of the 2004 Red Sox championship team have signed this celebratory photo, with bold mint signatures . The list of signers is: Bronson Arroyo, David Ortiz, Dave Wallace, Tim Wakefield, Mike Myers, Ron Jackson, Curt Schilling, Lynn Jones, Dave Roberts, Doug Mientkiewicz, Doug Mirabelli, Johnny Damon, Kevin Millar and Manny Ramirez. Affixed at the bottom right corner of the photo is a "2004 Reverse the Curse" sticker and completing the design are a classic Red Sox team logo and a metal plate with the names of the signers listed above. The tasteful black frame shows slight traces of wear, but remains attractive and ready for display. OK, get with it "so good, so good, so good". Full photo LOA from JSA.
