Well remembered for the enthusiastic celebration at the conclusion of Game 5 by superstar Alexander Ovechkin, the Washington Capitals soundly defeated the expansion Vegas Golden Knights in the 2018 Stanley Cup final to claim the franchise’s first championship. This was the Capitals second attempt at Lord Stanley's grail. Ovie led the playoffs in goals, and earned the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP. This framed limited-edition Capitals jersey has been team-signed by the 2018 Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals.
