Beautiful Casey Stengel Single Signed Baseball From 1956 World Series Beckett
Casey Stengel was one of the most successful managers in the history of the game. He led the New York Yankees to seven World Series titles in 12 years and saw only two seasons in the Bronx without a World Series appearance. Later, Stengel was coaxed out of retirement to be the first manager of the New York Mets, and to this day is the only man with his number retired by both existing New York teams. Stengel signed his name on this Official American League William Harridge stamped baseball. Stengel signed his name on the side panel in blue pen and inscribed “To The Arnold’s From Casey Stengel N.Y. Yankees = 1956 World Series = 1956”. Ball shows light use and was likely used during the 1956 World Series. A great Casey Stengel signed baseball and it comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A69277).
