Bernie Williams Day was held by the New York Yankees on May 24, 2015 at Yankee Stadium that featured the retirement of his #51 and his enshrinement in Monument Park prior to the Yankees' 5-2 loss to the Texas Rangers. Williams, who spent all of his illustrious 16-year career in Yankee pinstripes, was given the honor of being immortalized in Monument Park and his jersey retired.
