Extraordinary Hazen Kiki Cuyler Single Signed Autographed Baseball PSA DNA COA
Wilson official Pacific Coast League (Williams) ball signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Hazen "Kiki" Cuyler. Graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA/DNA (autograph graded 3; ball graded 4; resulting in an overall grade of 3.5). Cuyler's signature, signed "'KiKi' Cuyler," has been scripted in black fountain pen across the sweet spot, with the first name partially extending into the adjacent side panel. Kiki Cuyler single-signed balls are exceedingly rare. This is the first we have ever offered and we can only recall having seen one other at auction in the past 15 years. The reason for their rarity is timing. Cuyler retired in 1938 and died at the age of 51 in 1950, but wasn't elected to the Hall of Fame until 1968. As a result, few autograph collectors had the inclination to seek him out after he retired. This ball dates to the 1924-1931 manufacturing period. As such, it seems almost certain that Cuyler signed it during his playing career. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
