General Douglas MacArthur Single Signed Baseball PSA DNA COA World War 2 WWII

$9,995.00

Official National League (Frick) ball signed by Douglas MacArthur (1880-1964), General of the Army for the United States. The famed general has signed the ball in blue fountain pen. This ball has a detailed history. After World War II, our consignor's father was stationed in Hawaii with the Naval Reserves. During his time on the island he had an occasion to meet MacArthur and was even luckier to have him sign a baseball for him. This ball dates from the 1949-1951 manufacturing period, so it was most likely signed by MacArthur while he was engaged in the Korean War as commander-in-chief of the United Nations Command. The ball has remained in our consignor's family since that time. This is the first MacArthur single-signed baseball we have ever seen. The ball is in overall Excellent to Mint condition.
