Hank Aaron Adirondack model "229A" game used bat dating from the 1975-1976 manufacturing period. Graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA. The bat, which is not cracked, displays evidence of excellent use, including slight checking (repeated ball contact), several ball marks, ball-stitch impressions, and blue bat rack streaks on the barrel. A light coat of pine tar is visible on the handle. Aaron's uniform number ("44") is written on the knob in black marker along with an ink-written weight notation ("33") and a stamped "229A." He has signed the barrel in blue marker. This is an outstanding Hank Aaron bat dating from the final two years of his Hall of Fame career. Length: 35 inches. Weight: 33.3 ounces.
