Juan Marichal threw a no hitter against the Houston Colt .45s on June 15th, 1963 at Candlestick Park. Marichal faced only 29 batters, striking out five as the Giants as Chuck Hiller’s double in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Giants a narrow 1-0 victory. Marichal ran down the Giants with a foul pop-up and two strikeouts to end the game in the top of the ninth inning. Marichal’s counterpart Doug Drott also pitched a complete game for the Colt .45s, allowing two of his three hits in the bottom of the eighth.

Offered is an Official National League Warren Giles baseball signed and inscribed by Marichal in blue pen. The Hall of Famer has signed the sweet spot and inscribed “No Hitter vs Colt 45s” and “Game Ball June 15-1963” in addition to his signature. The ball comes with a Tristar hologram (7863721) and a full letter JSA COA and sticker.
