A two-time MVP with the New York Jets prior to the Jets merger from the AFL to the NFL, Namath led the Jets to a Super Bowl victory over the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III, marking the first-ever Super Bowl win by an AFL team over an NFL adversary in 1969.
Presented is a full ticket from Joe Namath's professional debut with the New York Jets on Sept. 18, 1965. Facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs, Namath performed admirably in his first game with 121 passing yards and his first career touchdown. The ticket features all game and seating information in green lettering An admirable keepsake commemorating the beginning of a Hall of Famer's celebrated career.
