Verlander's no-hit bid was broken up by Chris Iannetta who doubled to lead off the 9th inning. The Tigers went on to win the game 3-0 behind a masterpiece pitching performance by Verlander, who struck out 9 Angels batters. This ball was used in the game, and a MLB authentication hologram sticker (HZ 943819) is affixed to the ball. It was pitched by Hector Santiago to James McCann in the top of the fourth inning. McCann fouled the ball back to the screen.
