Offered here is an extremely rare, one-of-a-kind Marilyn Monroe single signed Official Pacific Coast League baseball. Monroe was often doing charity work and in September of 1952, according to the inscription on this ball, was a “Bat Girl” for a celebrity baseball event. Years before the Dodgers and Giants moved out west, the Pacific Coast League was the “Major League” of the west coast. The Los Angeles Angels of the PCL lasted until 1957. One of the celebrity events in Los Angeles called “Out of this World Series Baseball Charity Game” was played at Gilmore Filed in LA and included other stars at the time of Mickey Rooney, Art Aragon and Dale Robertson. The game was in September of 1952. Marilyn has signed this side panel with the Wilson stamp of this orb in black pen. There is an inscription on another panel that reads “Stars Celebrity Bat Girl Marilyn Monroe 9/18/52”. The ball is slightly toned and Marilyn’s signature is a little light, but still very much readable. A simply stunning piece penned by one of the most beautiful women of all time. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA for Monroe’s signature.
