Mark Teixeira Signed Game Used Port Charlotte Rangers Minor League Helmet BAS

$499.00

Future MLB legend, three-time All-Star, 2009 World Series champion, five-time Gold Glove Award winner, and 2009 AL home run and RBI leader, Mark Teixeira started the 2002 campaign with the Rangers of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League, batting .320 with an OPS of 1.000 in 38 games, before he moved up to the Tulsa Drillers of the Double-A Texas League later that season.

The size 7¼ Charlotte Rangers helmet is attributed to use by Teixeira during his 2002 campaign and displays evidence of outstanding wear. The helmet, constructed of high-impact plastic, features a faux leather headband and foam padding for the top and back of the helmet, as well as the ears; some of the padding is now detached. Multiple scuff marks, scratches, and paint transfers appear on the helmet. The number "23" is written twice in black marker by an unknown hand on the pad at the back of the head. Teixeira signed in black marker across the brim of the helmet. The signature shows signs of light fading. The helmet is accompanied by an LOA from J.T. Sports (AU2029) and an LOA from Beckett for the signature.
