Michael Jordan Photo Matched Game Used Twice Signed 1992 Nike Sneakers JSA COA

$199,999.00

Extraordinary pair of Michael Jordan game-used and autographed Player Exclusive Air Jordan VII sneakers, with the right shoe conclusively photo-matched to the Chicago Bulls’ February 17, 1992 matchup during one of the most dominant stretches of Jordan’s legendary prime. Even more remarkably, the game coincided with Jordan’s 29th birthday. True to form, MJ celebrated the occasion in spectacular fashion, erupting for 46 points while delivering one of the most memorable highlight plays of his career — an astonishing no-look, behind-the-back assist to Scottie Pippen that remains a staple of Jordan highlight reels more than three decades later. The early 1990s represented the absolute height of “Jordan Mania,” with the Chicago Bulls evolving from perennial contenders into a full-fledged sports dynasty. By the 1991-92 season, Jordan had already secured back-to-back scoring titles and was leading Chicago toward what would ultimately become the franchise’s second consecutive NBA Championship. At the center of that era stood the Air Jordan VII — one of the most recognizable and culturally influential sneaker silhouettes ever produced. Designed by legendary Nike architect Tinker Hatfield, the Jordan VII introduced bold geometric styling inspired by African tribal art. It simultaneously became forever linked to Jordan’s dominance on both the NBA and global stage, including his legendary “Dream Team” run later that same year. The accompanying Sports Investors Authentication letter states in part: “This shoe is photo matched to photos of Michael Jordan taken on February 17, 1992. Jordan had 46 points, four rebounds, and six assists during the Bulls’ game against the Cavaliers. This game occurred on Jordan’s 29th birthday, and a size 13.5 tag is located inside the shoe. The manufacturing date of January 23, 1992 is displayed on the tag. The tagging matches other exemplars, and sizing is appropriate for Jordan.” Both shoes have been beautifully autographed by Jordan, with the signatures projecting strongly and grading in the 8-9 range in our opinion. The autographs are accompanied by a full James Spence Authentication LOA authenticating the signatures. The offering is further accompanied by the aforementioned professional photo-match documentation from SIA conclusively linking the shoe to the February 17, 1992 contest.
