Michael Jordan surprised the sporting world when he announced his retirement from the NBA following his third straight NBA title with the Chicago Bulls. Jordan would soon switch to baseball and signed with the Chicago White Sox on February 7th, 1994. He reported to spring training in Sarasota, Florida, and was assigned to the team's minor league system on March 31, 1994.The White Sox were another team owned by Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf, who continued to honor Jordan's basketball contract during the years he played baseball. 
Presented here is an all-black leather Wilson The A2000 Michael Jordan game model fielder’s glove that has been signed Jordan in silver marker on the outside webbing. “MICHAEL JORDAN” is embroidered in white on the outer thumb.
