The 1930’s had some solid titan team clashes in baseball. Such is the example of when the Pittsburgh Pirates took on the New York Giants. So many Hall of Famers battled it out on the diamond when both of these teams were on the field. Bill Terry (Giants) and Paul Waner (Pirates) were a pair of examples from this match-up. Paul Waner entered the hallowed Hall first in 1952 and Terry after his managerial stint two years later in 1954.
This ONL (Giles) baseball features both of their signatures on a side panel in blue/black pen (“8”). There is a hole in the ball as it was previously mounted.
