RARE 1950's Gene Tunney Signed Autographed Everlast Boxing Glove PSA DNA COA

Sold out
$2,495.00

The consummate tactician between the ropes, Gene Tunney held titles in two different weight classes, including light heavyweight (1922-23) and heavyweight (1926-28), retiring undefeated as a heavyweight and with just one loss in his entire professional career. Most of all, though, he is remembered for two mythical bouts versus another giant of the day, Jack Dempsey.

The soft-to-the-touch, mustard colored boxing glove (right hand) has "Everlast Sptg. Gds. MFG. Co., New York" and "GT69" stamped on the outer wrist, while a cloth "Everlast" tag is sewn inside. The bottom top of the glove was signed by the champ in strong black fountain pen. The autograph is large, bold and extremely prominent. Meanwhile, the laceless glove remains in exemplary condition. Overall, this is a truly beautiful display piece that would shine brightly even in the most advance boxing collections. Full letter COA from PSA DNA.
