Rare Fred Hutchinson Single Signed Autographed 1950's Baseball JSA COA

Clean Lowe and Campbell baseball signed by fan favorite Fred Hutchinson.  Hutchinson passed away in late 1964 but courageously managed the Reds while ill, a fact known throughout the league.  He managed until July 27, when his illness got the best of him and he required hospitalization.  Sport magazine named him "Man of the Year" and his uniform number 1 was subsequently retired by the Reds.  A member of the Reds Hall of Fame, an award in his name ("The Hutch Award") is given out by Major League Baseball each year to the player who best exemplifies his spirit.  The 2019 winner was Dee Gordon of the Mariners.  The signature and inscription have been applied in blue pen at the sweet spot.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
