Presented is a Cooper Pro RA professional model glove game-used by 12-time All-Star and Baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar, photo-matched to an undated photo taken circa 1994. Alomar spent the strike-shortened '94 campaign with the Toronto Blue Jays, hitting .306 with 8 home runs, 25 doubles, 38 RBI and 78 runs scored in 107 games, being named to the All-Star team for a fifth consecutive year as well as winning a Gold Glove award. The glove is also an apparent photo-match to a 1995 Fleer Ultra Roberto Alomar #116 baseball card.
The offered Cooper Pro RA professional model glove is 12 inches in length, is made of leather, and features a one-piece, cross-laced web. The glove displays exceptional use with heavy game wear in the pocket, face of the web, and throughout the body of the glove. The pocket is coated with an ample coat of pine tar, which can also be seen on the palm and back of the finger sleeves. "ALOMAR" and the size of the glove, "12," appear on the back of the pinky sleeve in black thread. Alomar has signed the offered glove, penning his flowing signature in black marker on the back of the finger sleeves, including the inscriptions "12," "HOF 2011," "Game Used" and "Toronto Blue Jays." Accompanying the glove is an LOA from SIA Photo Match, who have conclusively photo-matched the glove to the undated photo. LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00773) for authenticity of game use.
