This personal check is hand-signed by boxing legend Rocky Marciano, notably executed in his birth name, “Marchegiano,” a scarce variation among collectors. Marciano competed professionally from 1947 to 1955, capturing the world heavyweight championship in 1952 and retiring undefeated in 1956, the only heavyweight champion in history to do so. His reign included six successful title defenses against elite opponents such as Jersey Joe Walcott, Ezzard Charles (twice), and Archie Moore. A very desirable piece of boxing memorabilia authenticated by PSA/DNA.
