Presented is an Official Major League Rob Manfred Jr. baseball used between the Los Angeles Angels and Oakland Athletics on March 29, 2018, when two-way Japanese superstar Shohei Ohtani made his Major League debut. In the 6-5 defeat for the Angels, Ohtani recorded his first career hit in his first at-bat in the second inning as part of a 1-for-5 day. This offered baseball was used in the top of the third inning with future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols at the plate versus Kendall Graveman, who delivered a pitch in the dirt with this ball. The baseball also features official Opening Day stamping. MLB Authenticated Hologram (JC366464) for game use.
