Presented is a rare Pie Traynor single-signed baseball in near-mint condition. Traynor signed the sweet spot of this Official National League (Frick) baseball in blue ink. He also included, "June 29, 1947" next to his name. Traynor spent his entire MLB career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, from 1920 to 1937. He was a World Series champion in 1925 and a 2-time All-Star. He was widely regarded as one of the best third basemen of his generation and was elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1948. An original Spalding Official National League Baseball box accompanies the ball. The box is red, white, and blue and includes the Spalding logo on one of the sides. Full LOA from PSA.
