Tom Glavine started for the Mets, pitching eight innings of one-run ball to earn the 298th victory of his Hall of Fame career. Shawn Green and Lastings Milledge contributed both RBI for the Mets with Billy Wagner recording his 19th save of the season with a perfect ninth.
