Presented is a Titan TPM2020 hockey stick signed by the NHL's all-time leading goal scorer and one of the most accomplished and decorated North American athletes, Wayne Gretzky. No player has come close to the utter dominance Gretzky displayed on the ice during his 20-year tenure in both Canada and the United States. The proud owner of 61 NHL records, Gretzky's understanding of the game and physical capabilities, despite a "slight" frame at just six feet, was far more advanced than anything the game had seen up until then. Indeed, his 2,857 career point total is widely considered to be untouchable, along with his 1,963 career assists, as Gretzky recorded at least 200 points in a season on four separate occasions. To put it into perspective, the Edmonton Oilers' modern star Connor McDavid fell well short of that mark in 2022-23, when he scored 153 points (a feat that hadn't been seen since Mario Lemieux during the '95-'96 campaign) with 64 goals. Gretzky has signed the offered stick, penning his flowing signature in black marker across the stick's blade. Gretzky has also added the inscription "802."
