Inscribed with “Say Hey HOF ’79” in black marker, the wool jersey has the 1951 National League 50th anniversary patch on the left sleeve, worn during Mays’s rookie year of 1951. The jersey has been framed along with a print of the famous “The Catch” photograph showing the iconic back-to-the-plate catch of Vic Wertz’s fly ball in Game 1 of the 1954 World Series.
