LeBron James has signed this gorgeous Malcom Farley painting commemorating his spectacular rookie season. One of the most anticipated players to enter the NBA in the last 20 years was LeBron James, who came directly out of high school from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Drafted as the No. 1 overall pick in 2003, LeBron immediately took the Cavaliers from doormats to respectability, ultimately leading them to the NBA title in 2016 in his second stint with the franchise.
This gorgeous 30 x 39-inch painting features James in hues of red and orange in the background, while James is realistically depicted wearing a navy Cavaliers uniform that with shades of blue, orange, white, and red. James signed and inscribed “Rookie of the Year 04” across the top left of the painting with a black marker. Farley signed his name on the bottom right of the painting with a gold metallic paint pen. The frame contains numerous scuff marks and indentations that do nothing to detract from the exquisite piece. The item comes with an LOA from JSA (Z49963) for the signature. Also has UDA Upper Deck hologram on the back. Upper Deck witnessed Lebron signing this piece of art.
