President John F. Kennedy & Jackie Kennedy Signed Baseball JFK PSA DNA & JSA COA

$64,995.00

Let’s start out by attesting that this is the only ball in existence.  You will never find a baseball signed by these two most historical American figures, the 35th President of the United States and his adored and most glamourous wife, Jackie.

J.F.K.’s life was tragically cut short when he was shot and killed in 1963 while riding in a car alongside his wife, Jackie Kennedy. Their love had been a staple of American culture for years and its tragic end is still a dark mark on the pages of history. But it started as many romances do: with a chance meeting and an instant spark. As the American people loved Jackie, so did JFK in his own way. And though his affairs were an open secret Jackie was never happy about, there was never any doubt about his love for his wife, or hers for him. Their relationship was mostly defined by Jackie’s dedication to her husband and children while they were in the White House.

Our great nation revered John F. Kennedy like no other President as well as the First Lady. She was at the time a fashion icon, model wife and mother, and one of the most beloved First Ladies in American history.

Baseball’s Opening Day was celebrated in our nation’s capital with JFK firing one in to the catcher to help usher in the season. Since William Taft began the tradition in 1910, 13 presidents including Kennedy at multiple during his Presidency have thrown out the first ball, initially at the Senators home games and then at those of the Washington Nationals.

John F. Kennedy simply loved sports. He was an avid fan of his hometown Boston Red Sox but never had a chance to attend one of their games while in office. He was well known for his official appointment of a scorekeeper and stat advisor which he affectionately titled ‘Undersecretary of Baseball.”

Presented is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to own an autographed baseball signed at his final memorable Opening Day of Baseball events in Washington by The President and His Wife Jackie. They have signed this Official National League (Giles) baseball across the sweet spot for Jack and a side panel by Jackie. On one of the opposite panels “1963” is inscribed in black marker on the ball dating it for reference.

This listing will afford one lucky buyer the chance to secure the inordinately tough signed ball from JFK & his wife Jackie.

Authentication: JSA Full Letter, PSA/DNA Full Letter & Charles Hamilton LOA.

The baseball was originally framed. Does not come with frame.
