Stunning Roberto Clemente Single Signed Autographed Baseball PSA DNA COA

Eastern Airlines chose Clemente as their primary spokesman in the 1960s and early 1970s, not only for his universal stardom, but also to deter potential hijackers in a time that it was common en route to Latin America. Ironically, Clemente would meet an unfortunate early death when his plane crashed while flying from Puerto Rico to Nicaragua to carry aid to the Nicaraguans. A single-signed, uninscribed baseball from Clemente is highly coveted in the hobby. With 12 Gold Gloves, four National League batting titles, 12 All-Star games, two World Series Championships, an MVP award, and the 3,000-hit milestone under his belt, he accomplished a mind-blowing amount in his shortened tenure with the MLB, all while spending his free time devoting himself to massive humanitarian efforts. Presented is an Eastern Airlines stamped baseball signed by Clemente in light blue ballpoint pen on the sweet spot. The baseball comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA, which has given the baseball a grade of "6" and the signature a high grade of "8," for an overall grade of "7.5."
